On behalf of the proprietors Valerie & Antonio Cascella & all the staff we would like to welcome you to Picaderos Restaurant & thank you for your custom & look forward to seeing you again.

Since first opening its doors in late 2011, Picaderos offers a busy hustle and bustle casual dining style experience with a fusion of Spanish and South American cuisines from Tapas, Paellas, Fajitas, Burritos & ‘Asado’ Grills which are complimented by traditional wines, beers and sherry’s from all regions of Spain & South America.

Picaderos offers a unique dining experience where you can immediately relax in the beautiful & comfortable décor with live music on offer 6 nights per week creating arguably the best atmosphere in town!

Relax & enjoy the ambiance, live music, traditional dishes & drinks that make us unique as a restaurant and escape to that holiday feeling for a few hours at least!




With our specially designed open-plan kitchen you can see that we pride ourselves in cleanliness at all times.  We also pride ourselves in knowing that we use only the freshest of ingredients delivered daily in all our dishes.

Our ingredients & meats are of the highest standard and are carefully chosen by our team of chefs & senior management.  The chef’s all ensure that the ingredients we use make each dish authentic.

 Picaderos Restaurant aims to provide its customers with the total experience; ambiance, live music, friendly staff, high quality service & flavoursome authentic foods.

For Parties of 10 or more a 10% Discretionary Service Charge will be added to your final bill & distributed directly amongst all the service staff.

Fresh Roaring Bay Rope mussels steamed in a lightly spiced tomato & white wine sauce.  Served with rustic Spanish garlic Toasts.

Sautéed tiger prawns in a Spanish brandy, garlic butter, saffron, chilli & lime sauce served with rustic garlic toasts.

– Captain Morgan BBQ Ribs €9.00

Slow oven cooked ½ rack of tender baby back Pork Ribs marinated in Captain Morgan Spiced Rum & basted with Whiskey Honey Glaze.

Pan seared Irish Half Shell King Scallops served with ‘Asado’ grilled Spanish “Morcilla” Black Pudding with a fresh mint & pea purée & a prosecco cream sauce.

Breaded deep fried soft ripened ‘Buche de Chèvre’ mild tangy flavoured goat’s cheese on bed of baby spinach leaves, with a sweet honey hazelnuts & walnuts dressing.

30 day hung & dry aged tender 14oz prime Rib Eye on-bone Steak chargrilled Galician style “A La Brasa” on the open flame lava rock grill.  Served with crushed chorizo & stacked smoked tobacco onions, Spanish ‘Morcilla’ Black Pudding and cubed rustic potatoes.

‘Churrasco’ BBQ Meat Platter €27.90

South American mixed bbq meat platter with charred Brazilian style Tri-Tip steak, juicy & tender marinated chicken skewers, Spanish ‘Morcilla’ Black Pudding & whole barrel of smoky Spanish chorizo sausage.  Served with Papas Arrugadas & garnished with mixed salad

‘Asado’ char-grilled slices of chicken breast fillet basted in a Hot tasty ‘Piri-Piri’ spice, served on a mixed crisp fresh leave salad with roasted Valencia Almonds, slices of crispy fried chorizo sausages & smoked Fajita spiced mixed grilled vegetables.

– Braised Lamb Shank with ‘Viño Tinto Jus’ €23.90

Fall off the bone shank of Wicklow lamb oven braised 6 hours with creamy buttered mash potato & mixed roast vegetables with a ‘Vino Tinto’ Rioja red wine Jus reduction. (CF)


– Cuban BBQ Pork Ribs €21.90

Slow oven cooked tender baby back Pork Ribs marinated in Captain Morgan Spice Cuban rum; basted with Whiskey Honey Glaze & served with spicy Spanish Patatas ‘Bravas’ & Ranchero onion Lasso rings.

All beef burgers are cooked medium well & are served with rustic chips & garnished with salad.

Our Beef Burgers are 100% Prime Irish Beef & are seasoned – with nothing else added.

Oven baked fresh fillet of Wild Sea Bass served with sliced tender baby potatoes, crisp & salty sea samphire, oven roasted vine tomatoes & surf clams in a light lemon butter sauce.


‘Asado’ Grilled ‘Mariscos mixtos’ €29.00

Fish & Seafood Grill with pan-fried fillet of seabass, fillet of hake, deep fried crispy breaded calamares, char-grilled tiger prawns, steamed wild samphire, mussels & surf calms and grilled king scallops.  Served with rustic potatoes in a lemon & garlic butter sauce. 

Catalán Style Hake & Rustic Chips €18.50

Fresh Fillet of natural Hake prepared in a homemade crispy ‘San Miguel’ beer batter, served with rustic Spanish chips, homemade Tartar sauce & warm Mushy peas.

Paella Valenciana (cf) (mixed Meat & Seafood) €26.00

The original and traditional famous Spanish rice dish from Valencia cooked in saffron with a mix spices, chicken, smoky chorizo, fish & seafood with garden peas, onions & mixed peppers.
