~ Picaderos CHRISTMAS SET Menu ~

€55 per person* ~ 3 course set menu including aperitif drink on arrival

Aperitif on arrival while you decide your meal choices:

Glass of Homemade crisp Sangría; Glass of Festive warm home-made Mulled wine;

Glass of Spanish Lager or Glass of Prosecco Or a Non-alcoholic drink for all those Designated Drivers!

 

~ Primer Plato / Starters ~

– Sopa del Dia (v), (vg) Gluten free Bread alternative is also available

Soup of the day made with fresh seasonal ingredients & served with a basket of bread.

~ Chicken ‘Romesco’ Pinchos (cf)

Char grilled chicken skewers with a ‘piquillo’ pepper & tomato ‘Romesco’ sauce.

– Catalán Tomato & CheeseToasts (v) Gluten free Bread alternative is also available

Toasts with garlic, basil, plum grated tomatoes topped with Manchego cheese shavings.

– Grilled Prawn Skewers                                                                                

Char grilled piri piri prawn skewers served on a bed of rocket salad with Manchego cheese shavings & a Balsamic reduction salsa.

– Tapas Sharing Platter (Serves two – Starter order is only for two people sharing)

Marinated Chicken ‘Pincho’ Skewers*, Catalán Style Plum Tomato Bread, Spicy Patatas ‘Bravas’, homemade Spicy Tomato Meatballs**, Olives & Mixed Salad.

~ Platos Principales / Main Courses ~

 

~ Seville Orange Duck (cf)   (Duck cooked medium-rare)

Honey glazed Duck breast served with a fruity Seville orange & ginger sauce, beetroot purée, creamed mash potato & rainbow baby carrots with a fresh orange zest!

– Braised Venison Shank (cf)

Slowly oven braised shank of Wild Irish Venison; in a Port & red currant Jus reduction.  Served with buttered mash potato, cauliflower purée & candied buttered vegetables. 

– Rustic Wild Seabass (cf)

Pan Fried fresh fillet of Wild Seabass in a hearty Spanish black olive tomato salsa sauce with a hint of chill & surf clams. Served on a bed of creamed mash potatoes with bbq charred asparagus spears & rainbow baby carrots.

~ Homemade Lentil & Mushroom Vegan-“Meatballs” with Tapas ‘Patatas Bravas’.

Hand-rolled & homemade green lentil & mushroom “no”-meatballs in a spicy tomato salsa.

Served with spicy Patatas ‘Bravas’ & mixed crispy leaf salad.

~ Roasted Chicken Supreme

Oven roasted corn-fed chicken Supreme stuffed with Spanish Serrano Jamón Iberico & Chorizo served on a bed of creamy mashed potato, served with in a creamy white wine & wild Mushroom sauce.

– Char grilled ‘Asado’ Striploin Steak     (Supplement €7.50) 

30 day hung & aged tender 10oz prime Striploin Steak cooked Argentinean ‘Asado’ style on the open flame lava rock grill.  Served with rustic seasoned cubed Spanish potatoes & stacked Smoked Tobacco Onions.  Please ask server for choice of sauces.

– Paella Main Course (CF). 

The traditional famous Spanish Saffron rice dish from Valencia with onions, peas & mixed peppers.  Three different varieties available:

  • A mixed Vegetable dish is available.
  • Spanish Chorizo Sausage & Chicken option is available.
  • A Seafood & Fish option is also available (Supplement €6.00)

 

~ Desserts / Postres ~

– Sticky Toffee Pudding

Warm & moist pudding, served with rich toffee sauce, fresh cream & vanilla ice cream

– Espresso Martini (Supplement €4.00) 

Traditional after dinner coffee cocktail with Vanilla Vodka, Coffee Liqueur, Salted Caramel Syrup & freshly brewed double espresso coffee

– Tarta De Santiago

Almond & Pear Tartlet coated in icing sugar; served warm with a scoop of ice cream.

– ‘La Muerte’ Death by Chocolate Cake.

Rich cake served warm with lashings of chocolate served with a scoop of ice cream.

For parties of x6 or more a 10% discretionary gratuity charge will be added to your final bill and 100% of this will be distributed directly to all of our staff.
